Sky Organics Castor Oil arrived at Painted Ladies headquarters recently, and I was oh, so glad to receive this natural beauty oil that comes in an extremely convenient dropper bottle. There are a multitude of uses for castor oil, and today I’m going to share three ways to use Sky Organics Castor Oil in your beauty routine.
First (and foremost), you can use castor oil to regrow sparse brows. Many years ago when I was a young beauty enthusiast – inexperienced but enthusiastic – I did what so many of us do at some point or another, which was to obliterate my eyebrows to a state of almost non-existence. Oh, yeah, it was bad! And yet I thought it looked so great! If you want proof, you gotta check out this post from a few years ago. It was scary times, y’all!
Thankfully, a coworker at the time pulled me aside and talked me into putting down my tweezers. She recommended dousing my eyebrows with castor oil, which was indeed the trick to helping grow back my brows. The reason castor oil works so well? It’s rich in omegas and Vitamin E that helps encourage hair growth and is also beneficial to helping improve the appearance of scars on your skin. Sky Organics Castor Oil comes with mascara spoolies and eyeliner applicators, which is great because you can use them to apply a couple of drops of castor oil to your eyebrows and lash line.
That brings me to the second way you can use Sky Organics Castor Oil in your beauty routine. In the same way castor oil helps nourish eyebrows, it is also an excellent eyelash conditioner. If you wear mascara on a regular basis and especially if you wear false lashes, your eyelashes need a good conditioner to keep them looking their best and encourage growth.
Finally, castor oil is a great hair treatment. I flat iron my hair on a regular basis, and the night before a wash day I’ll apply castor oil to the ends of my hair and a teensy bit on my scalp. Sky Organics Castor Oil has a heavy texture, so a very little bit goes a very long way.
Sky Organics sources their castor oil from India. It’s organic, unrefined and cold-pressed so you receive the maximum benefits from this natural oil. I’ve been using quite a few Sky Organics products lately, and I’m a fan of this all-natural, toxic chemcial free and cruelty free beauty line on a regular basis. The Sky Organics Dead Sea mask that I reviewed recently is fantastic!
My Final Thoughts: T here are so many great beauty purposes for castor oil! If you’re looking for a castor oil to try, I recommend Sky Organics Castor Oil – it’s a great product that will have your lashes, eyebrows, hair and skin looking good.
