On a recent trip to Ulta the Real Techniques Foundation Blender threw itself in my basket, and that’s exactly what I say about so many of my makeup purchases.
I’m really glad I did pick up this brush because in case this post is too long and you don’t read it all the way through, it’s pretty much fantastic.
Thinking about my experience with Real Techniques makeup brushes, I can’t think of a single brush or sponge from them I don’t like. Their brushes are all made from synthetic materials and they hold up very well. I’ve owned a few for well over 5 years and they’re still going strong. The only issue I have is the plastic overcoat on the handles do that weird, gummy thing that happens with NARS packaging.
The Real Techniques brand was founded by Sam and Nic Chapman, who are sisters, makeup artists and the team behind the Pixiwoo YouTube channel.
I love the oval design of the Real Techniques Foundation Blender which fits into my hand easily. Here it is pictured next to a traditional kabuki brush. Don’t know much about kabuki brushes? I explain more in this post.
The Real Techniques Foundation Blender blends foundation so well and gives my skin a flawless finish. I recommend putting dots of foundation on your face before hand for a more even blend. I typically put foundation on the back of my hand and apply and find that only one section of the brush picks up foundation that way.
My Final Thoughts: The Real Techniques Foundation Blender offers excellent blending abilities!
The Real Techniques Foundation Blender featured in this post was purchased by me. All opinions are 100% my own.
