IT Cosmetics has great makeup game! For Fall 2017 IT Cosmetics added to their skincare and makeup line big time, and I’ve been going through all of their new releases over the past few weeks. Today I’m going to share my thoughts on the new IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation.
Bye Bye Lines is billed as being an anti-aging, skin-smoothing foundation that provides invisible coverage.
As with all IT Cosmetics products, IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation was developed with leading plastic surgeons and has been clinically tested. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation contains ingredients that offer skin benefits as you wear it through the day. This includes a hydrating anti-aging serum, anti-aging peptides, caviar extract, hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, argan oil and babassu oil, vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, B7, B9 and CoQ10. And, to top that, you’ll find a proprietary ingredient from IT Cosmetics – Drops of Light Optical Blurring Technology which offers skin a gorgeous glow.
There are seven shades in this line: Fair, Light, Medium, Medium Tan, Tan, Rich and Deep. My perfect shade is Tan.
Every product has their pros and cons. The pros of IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation? The coverage is lovely and the finish works well with my normal-to-oily skin tone. I get long wearing, buildable coverage that looks really good at the end of the day.
The cons? Well, it’s that limited color range of just 7 colors. I do hope that as IT Cosmetics expands they also add more colors to their foundation and concealer lines that are more inclusive to other skin tones. Another issue (for some) might be that this foundation contains dimethicone. To be honest, dimethicone is in sooooooo many cosmetics products – even the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture eyeshadow palette I featured recently. It works well to smooth skin and help makeup go on smoothly, but at the same time it can also clog pores, so it’s something to be aware of.
My Final Thoughts: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation works well with my normal to oily skin type and I’m really liking the coverage and finish from the foundation. While I wouldn’t call it the best I’ve ever used (that honor currently goes to Make Up For Ever), it’s one I’ll keep in my foundation rotation. Now here’s hoping IT Cosmetics expands the color range!
