Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eye Shadow in Vivid is seriously one of the prettiest olive green eyeshadows I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Truly. It’s scrumptious.
Ever since I watched a tutorial on khaki smokey eyes from Sam & Nic Chapman (formerly Pixiwoo), I have had a hankering to find the perfect olive green cream eyeshadow. You know I was on a serious beauty lover mission!
The Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow mentioned in the video isn’t available, so I went to Sephora one day with dogged determination to find THE perfect khaki/olive cream eyeshadow. There are actually several choices right now but Vivid stood out to me quite vividly.
There are 9 shades available in the Hourglass Shatted Light Glitter Eye Shadow range, which are priced at $29 each. Definitely a splurge, but in this case a very worthy one. The shadows don’t slip and slide and maintain their integrity throughout a long day.
And look at this green. Just look at it! The glitter, the olive, the smooth texture. It’s an all out win in my book for sure and I’ll definitely pick up more when the next Sephora Beauty Insider sale rolls around.
