Over the weekend I had a pleasant surprise when I discovered a shipment of products from Benefit Cosmetics upon my doorstep. And I’m thankful!
I have to be honest with you – things have changed so much in the influencer/blogger arena over the past few years and I, along with many others, have been put in the wayside by beauty brands. It’s a business decision and understandable, but still kind of a strange thing to no longer really be in consideration when beauty samples are being doled out.
Overall, however, this has been a good thing. It’s a great feeling to not feel so overwhelmed and to feature products here that I really and truly enjoy and for the most part pay for on my own. And when I do feature PR products it’s not a free for all anymore – I only want to share those products I really stand by and have used in the past.
I can vouch for all the products in this cornucopia – Benefit’s brow products have never failed me and I use them daily! You can see some of my favorites here.
I also received a refill of two mascaras I have used and truly love! Benefit Roller Lash is excellent as is Benefit Bad Gal mascara.
Benefit Hoola is another favorite and I have to say I’m really looking forward to trying the Benefit Cookie Highlighter.
