The Wink and Shine by Amalie Beauty products featured in this post were provided for editorial consideration. All opinions are 100% my own.
It wasn’t that long ago my beauty routine welcomed two important products from Amalie Beauty that have produced definite and notable results in both my skin and eyelashes. I’m so glad I became acquainted with both Wink and Shine by Amalie Beauty, because they’re both skincare winners!
Amalie Beauty was started by Megan, a MIT grad who turned her side hustle into a thriving beauty brand with Shine and Wink – two products that have made a positive impact into the lives of its users.
In the 4 years since Wink launched, this eyelash and eyebrow oil has helped over 5,000 chemotherapy patients regrow their eye and brow hair! I can attest to the fact that this vegan, cruelty-free, organic, and nutrient rich oil has helped my lashes look and feel their best with ingredients that include Castor Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil and Argan Oil.
Shine is a brightening facial oil that is available in both an unscented version and a jasmine-scented version.
Shine has new packaging that is quite, quite fetching. The same skin brightening results remain with the change, and that’s a very good thing. Shine is cruelty-free, vegan, free from soy, corn and gluten, and made with over 70 organic ingredients. Key ingredients are Pomegranate Oil, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, and Licorice Extract.
When I first used Shine, I was doing a laser treatment on my under eye area that left me red and patchy! Shine helped the situation big time! Right now I’m using Shine on a couple of spots on my face that could use some TLC and also a bit on my decade-old C-section scar. The skin in that area is a bit dark and I’m trusting that Shine will help brighten up the skin.
I have an extra bottle of Shine to giveaway to one Painted Ladies reader. Please follow the widget below to enter! This is open to residents of the USA and ends Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:59 pm PST.
My Final Thoughts: There’s a lot of new stuff coming from Amalie Beauty in the coming months. They’ve just released a Persimmon Anti-Aging night cream, and I’m looking forward to much more good stuff ahead.
Rating: A, for Shine and Wink
Price: Wink is $40 for a 2 month supply, Shine is $60
