Over the last few days I gleefully received my All Access Boxycharm for September 2019 plus the news of some major changes to the Boxycharm monthly subscription box service.
Boxycharm has been my main subscription box squeeze over the last few years and I’ve been beyond happy with this $21 a month treat. I’ve been doing a month-to-month subscription from the get go and it’s pretty much smooth sailing. Each month you receive 5 full sized beauty products and I very much dig the surprise bag aspect of it all.
There are a few varieties of the boxes each month, and in my All Access Boxycharm for September 2019 I got some great loot which include:
Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palettes – 9 matte eyeshadows and 3 contouring powders. I’m so excited to use this palette.
Dr. Brandt Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask – this is ideal for those with sensitive skin and I’m pretty sure I’ll be passing this one along to a friend.
Hank & Henry Blickity Black Liquid Eyeliner – I’ve been so interested in this boutique brand and will enjoy the liner that has a brush tip.
Billion Dollar Brows Microblade Effect Brow Pen in Taupe – What an interesting felt tip that’s meant to mimic the look of microbladed eyebrows.
Moda Pro 5 Piece Deluxe Eye Kit – I oohed and aahed over these brushes and added them to my on-the-go makeup bag. I do love Moda brushes an d
Now, for the changes. which include customization, choice, add-ons, an increased value and a slightly higher cost if you’re going month-month. Some of these changes start in October, and the rest will begin in November 2019.
Starting in October subscribers will have the opportunity to pick out one product that’s going into their box. I did this and had the choice between a liquid body glow and a glassy skin highlighter.
The big changes come in November and include the opportunity to test complexion swatches so you can get the best products for your own skin tone. There will be more beauty product deals that you can get through Boxycharm with free shipping. The value of each month’s Boxycharm will go up to $125 minimum as opposed to $100 minimum. Finally, the price of each box is going up to $25 a month, unless you lock in a pre-paid subscription. Overall I still think the $25 is worth it because you do get a whole lotta bang for your buck. There will still be a BoxyLuxe every quarter.
What are your thoughts on the upcoming Boxycharm changes?
