Sure, there’s still a few weeks left before 2020 approaches, but what better time than the present to discuss one of my favorite beauty topics, eyeshadow palettes.
It’s not a secret that I adore playing with eyeshadow. In fact, I dedicated four entire years of blogging to creating a new eyeshadow look daily! My schedule has changed quite a bit since those early days of blogging and I honestly don’t wear eyeshadow as much as I’d like.
Still, I adore collecting eyeshadow palettes and really don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. The more warm-toned palettes the better, ha ha! I have found a few fantastic ones in 2019, and here they are.
There was a time in my life when I totally disavowed the use of neutral eyeshadow palettes. Goes to show how much I knew, because really, they are awesome. In particular, the Nars Skin Deep Eyeshadow Palette is one of the best eyeshadow palettes I’ve come across, period. Smooth. Blendable. Pigmented. Swoon!
I was so happy to finally get my hands on the Pat McGrath Labs MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Ambition Eyeshadow Palette, which is now discontinued but gave me a chance to experience these palettes. Oh my goodness – the quality is through the roof and worth checking out. I’ve since purchased a Pat McGrath quad I’ll feature soon.
Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde – a cool toned palette that’s quite a refreshing change! These shadows are so gorgeous and Huda and her team knocked it out of the ballpark.
Honestly, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Jackie Aina Eyeshadow Palette is one of the best I’ve seen from ABH in general. These shadows are saturated with pigment and a true delight to use. The purples! Fantastic!
Viseart Theory Eyeshadow Palette Theory VI Absinthe was on my wish list for quite some time and I’m glad I indulged – excellent quality all the way around.
I was super skeptical about the Physicians Formula Butter Eyeshadow Palette in Sultry Nights but to no avail – this is an excellent budget friendly palette I think anyone would enjoy.
What eyeshadow palettes are you enjoying lately?
