It was one of those days unexpectedly devoted to clearing out clutter. A peek into a few of my makeup bins to find an errant blush snowballed into a trip down memory lane, and I took a moment to think back on some tried and true makeup and skincare products. Some of these mainstays have been around from my teenage years, when I was first learning about beauty.
Cetaphil brand cleansers and moisturizers are some of those products that have stood the test of time as skincare products that will always be a part of my life. Cetaphil cleansers and moisturizers are the #1 pediatrician recommended brand, and recommended by more dermatologists than any other brand. Once you’ve used them, it’s easy to see why.
When I was a teenager I had horrible acne and started using retinol products to control the breakouts. Although the strong retinols worked, they also made my skin extremely sensitive to anything, really. Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser was the only product I could find that didn’t burn my face, and I came to rely on this for many years to come. Today I like it just as much, and use it to make sure my skin is in tip top shape. I can also use it on my son, which is an extra bonus point.
Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser is fragrance free, non-comedogenic, and keeps your skin looking good because it doesn’t strip your skin of natural protective oils or emollients, or disturb the skin’s natural pH balance.
Being out in the sun as much as I am, having a good moisturizer with a SPF 15 is a requirement. I’ve been using Cetaphil® Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 15 lately and it’s quickly earned a valued place in my skincare arsenal. This lotion is not only lightweight, it’s effective. Even though I have dark olive skin, I do have a tendency to burn a bit. Cetaphil® Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 15 gets me through the day without a hint of singe, making it a clear cut winner.
With my normal-to-oily skin, I find this fragrance-free lotion to be very lightweight and also it works nicely as a primer for foundation. The active ingredients in the SPF are avobenzone 3% and octocrylene 10%.

face wash of ANY kind..
I need to have both cleanser and moisturizer! I use Cetaphil and even though the dermatologist suggested I not use moisturizer (“unless I need it”), I’m pretty sure my skin would hurt badly if I didn’t moisturize.

I could not survive without lip balm. oh and sunblock
I definitely cannot live without my facial moisturizer, especially in the Winter when my skin gets extra dry. Thanks!
I would really like to win, but I use Vaseline Intensive Care. I live in the desert and the winter and summers are especially hard on my elbows and heels.
The one beauty product I could not live without is my Blistex Lip Medex.
Right now, it’s been lip balm since the winter weather is starting to creep in!
I have to use lotion in the winter season. It seems as though a hot shower takes out the moisture in my skin, so I like to put the lotion on as soon as I step out of the shower. [email protected]
I love my Clinique yellow moisturizer.

Really, it’s Cetaphil. I can only use Cetaphil bar cleanser for my face. I have used it since a dermatologist recommended it years ago.
