It is always a delight when a product you’ve initially dismissed lives up to its claims and then some. Such is the case with Wet n Wild’s Gel Liner.
But then again, Wet n Wild is good for surprises like that.
I was encouraged to give this bargain liner a try after seeing various raves around the online beauty sphere. At $3.99 (and with $1 in CVS Extra Value Bucks) it was worth a try.
My only complaint has to do with the liner cake, which came loose and could have fallen out. No big bummer, though, and I was able to push it back in with ease.
The liner even comes with a mini angled brush, which I ditched for a longer handled liner brush of my own.
The pigmentation is right on target – a rich black that applies smoothly and lasts until its removed.
Here’s the liner in action.
I have used many a gel liner in my day and would say with ease that Wet n Wild’s version is similar to MAC’s Gel Liner. Fabulous!
You can find Wet n Wild products at most drugstores.

Thanks for the great review, Sheila. I would never have even looked to Wet n Wild for a gel liner– I will now definitely have to pick on up next time I go to CVS! Such a bargain!
You’re welcome, Lola.
The only issue I had, and it was major, is that it dried up in the jar too quickly. I had two that did that.
Well that stinks. Thanks for letting us know!
