Welcome to Painted Ladies, Thu!

Hello! My name is Thu (pronounced like “two”), and I’m super excited to be joining the Painted Ladies!

A little about me: I’m a mother of an almost-two-year-old, and I spend a lot of time running after my daughter. When I’m not doing that, I’m grading essays because I’m a high school English teacher. I’m an avid knitter, an aspiring derby skater, a Radiohead fan, and a runner training for my first marathon. I wear a lot of hats in my everyday life, and my makeup needs to keep up with all of them.

I’ve kept a personal blog for a while now, but I’ve really started focusing on beauty blogging within the past year. My blog (http://editionsofthu.blogspot.com) features eye looks (especially ones that I can wear to work) and occasional reviews. I am a huge, HUGE fan of Urban Decay, and in the last couple of months, I’ve also become a really huge fan of Sugarpill as well. I love bright colors and dramatic eyeliner, and will try to push the boundaries of what’s fun and what’s professional as much as possible.
