Hello, February! I was inspired to open the first day of the month of love with a smokey eyeshadow look using some shadows from Sydney Grace and ColourPop.
But first, let me tell you how much I’m loving the Pat McGrath Labs lip glosses I told you about earlier this week. My 90’s loving self is beyond pleased! I’m wearing Flesh 4 in this photo and it might just be the best brown toned lip gloss I’ve seen in eons!
I had fun creating this makeup look and had some extra time to blend my shadows, which is always a huge plus. Over the past few weeks I’ve been editing my makeup collection and have dug up some products from my past that I’ve put to use in this look.
To start off this look I used Hourglass Ambient Lighting Primer in Dim Light, which really is one of the best I’ve ever used. Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation in Soft Tan is my foundation and IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer (in a pot) in Tan is the concealer. I set the face products with Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder, which I just love. I used IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Bronzer in Beach, Physicians Formula Mineral Airbrushing Blush in Rose (an oldie but goodie!) and the Anastasia x Amrezy Highlighter.
On my eyes I’m wearing Sydney Grace Berry Fizz in my crease, Admiral in my inner and outer corner of my upper lid and Troop on my lower lid. In the middle of my eyelid I placed NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk and then Earthshine from the ColourPop It’s My Pleasure Palette. The look is finished with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Uzi and L’Oreal Unlimited Mascara.
