As the song goes, it takes two to make things go right, it takes two to make skin problems go outta sight. Kinda. Not really. But, in the case of Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic and Pixi Beauty Rose Tonic, I’d like to thank these two skincare essentials for helping to smooth and soothe skincare woes.
While Pixi Beauty Rose Tonic is new to me, I’m a tried and true fan of Pixi Beauty’s Glow Tonic, which has been part of my skincare routine for a few years now. I’d heard so many great things about this budget friendly toner and was very pleased to discover that it actually lived up to it’s claims. Pixi sent over a package with several travel sized bottles of both the Glow Tonic and Rose Tonic and I’m tickled to give them away as Christmas treats very soon.
Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic is an AHA (alpha hydroxy alpha) based skin exfoliant that is alcohol-free and works really well with my normal-to-oily skin. The key ingredients include 5% Glycolic Acid along with Ginseng, Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera and Aloe Vera to gently resurface skin. You can use this after cleansing your skin and applying serums and moisturizers both in the morning and evening. Glow Tonic has never irritated my skin and I definitely see skin smoothing results with regular use.
I’ve been using other toners for a while and just went back to using this super size bottle Pixi sent me last Holiday season. It was a great gift! After starting back up with Pixi Glow Tonic I definitely noticed skin improvement right away. A travel size bottle of Pixi Glow Tonic is $4, a 100 ml bottle is $15 and a 250 ml bottle is $29.
New to me is Pixi Beauty Rose Tonic, a toner that’s designed to balance and helps calm red skin with ingredients that include Rose Extract, Elderflower and Chamomile. It’s designed for all skin types and is most appropriate for combination and sensitive skin types.
My Final Thoughts: Pixi Beauty hasn’t done me wrong and their toners are worth trying out!
Rating: A, overall
