You many know that probiotics are an important part of a healthy eating plan. But did you know probiotics aren’t just for food! Tula, which means balance in Sanskrit, is a skincare brand created by Dr. Raj that uses the power of probiotics and superfoods to benefit and improve the overall quality of your skin.
I am all about bringing balance and wellness to my skin, I’m glad to know those are two values that Tula skincare stands on, along with healthy beauty. I’ve used Tula products in the past, and the short of it is – I’m a fan of this innovative skincare brand. Lately I’ve been using the Tula Illuminating Face Serum along with the Tula Revitalizing Eye Cream in my morning skincare routine.
The Tula brand made a big impression on me last year when I had the opportunity to try out the Tula Exfoliating Face Mask. It was one of the best masks I’ve ever used, and that’s saying a lot because I do use quite a few masks. My skin looked brighter after using it in a way that nothing else does! The clay purified my skin and the exfoliating granules made it feel incredibly smooth. Needless to say, the Tula mask did my skin right, and ever since I’ve held Tula in a place of high regard in my heart.
Tula Illuminating Face Serum ($78) is designed for dry, normal, sensitive, combination and mature skin. I have oily skin and it has not irritated or made my skin overly normal than usual. The serum is designed to brighten dull skin and target dark spots with key ingredients that include Probiotic Technology, more specifically speaking probiotic strain Bifida Ferment Lysate. Other ingredients include Vitamin E, citrus extracts, pearlescent pigments, Chicory Root and Safflower Oil. These include anti-inflammatory ingredients to help soothe skin.
Tula Revitalizing Eye Cream ($52) is a cream designed for all skin types. It’s rich yet lightweight to apply and does feel incredibly soothing under my eye area. What I really like about this eye cream is that it helps my eye area feel smooth and over time improves the appearance of crepe-y skin thanks to probiotic technology, olive oil, shea butter, grape seed oil and vitamin c. This is really nice cream under makeup as well as to use at night.
My Final Thoughts: Three cheers for balance in beauty and Probiotic Technology in skincare! I’ve been using these two pieces of Tula skincare over the last few weeks and they both rate high in my book. I love the Tula Illuminating Serum underneath my makeup for added illumination and I’ll be using the Tula Revitalizing Eye Cream as a regular part of my skincare rotation.
