Valentine’s Day is approaching, which means it’s the perfect time to utilize one of my newest favorite eyeshadow collections, the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette. It’s pretty much completely adorable and perfect to use in a romantic Valentine’s makeup tutorial.
It’s also the perfect time to wear these! Unfortunately my rose colored glasses will not allow you to see the eye makeup, but they’re so cute and so much fun I had to show them off.
As a fan of the original Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette does not disappoint.
Too Faced Cosmetics is seriously one of my favorite brands these days – not only is their packaging above and beyond anything else, but their product formulas are always on point. In fact, I cannot think of a single Too Faced product that I’ve not liked.
From the pretty pink packaging, to the cocoa scented eyeshadows, smooth texture and high color payoff this collection of 16 eyeshadows is a sensory delight. Inside you’ll find a mix of matte, shimmery and satin eyeshadows.
It’s a bit hard to see the names from the photo, so here’s a closer look at the 16 colors in the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette.
Each and every shadow is smooth and easy to blend. They smell so sweet, but please don’t lick the shadows! LeI take a closer look at the colors along with some swatches. I love the mix of textures and that the palette includes both a shimmery (Satin Sheets) and a matte highlighter (Divinity) shade.
The possibilities with this palette are endless. I came up with this soft and romantic look that’s perfect for Valentine’s day.
To create this look, I started off with an eyeshadow primer, which is a fundamental part of every eyeshadow application. I also added a piece of scotch tape alongside my eyes to use as a stencil for both my eyeshadow and eyeliner.
First, I blended Mocha in the crease with the Coastal Scents Pro Fluff Brush.
I used the Bdellium 773 to pat Bordeaux on my inner and outer corners.
I used a blending brush from Pur Cosmetics to blend Bordeaux up higher on my lid.
Then I patted both Totally Fetch and Cotton Candy smack dab in the middle of my lid using a Smashbox brush.
I used the Morphe M200 to apply Earl Grey on the outer corner.
I added Satin Sheets to the inner corner of my lid with the Bdellium 773.
Then finished off the look with Divinity on the browbone with the MAC 213 brush.
The look is complete with NYX Matte Liquid Liner, NYX Slide On Liner in Glitzy Gold and Too Faced Melted Chocolate Lipstick in Chocolate Milkshake. Voila! Perfectly pretty and ready for Valentine’s!
My Final Thoughts: Too Faced does it again with the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. It’s so pretty and a lovely eyeshadow treat!
