theBalm Shady Lady Vol. 2

By Sheila Arkee

After being in the beauty blogging business for over three years, my love for eye makeup is no big secret. I looooove it! Every shadow palette is a new opportunity for color combinations, so you can imagine my sheer delight when I received theBalm’s Shady Lady Vol. 2 palette from Image Beauty.

These 9 colors are nothing less than absolutely scrumptious (told you I’m bringing it back). The shadows are housed in a sturdy zebra print cardboard case with a generous mirror.

I’ve known and loved theBalm’s Jealous Jordana shadow for a while now, and the shadows in this palette do not disappoint. The shadows are richly pigmented, shimmery, with a smooth, long-lasting velvet texture. The size of these shadows are slightly smaller than my single of Jealous Jordana, but at a price of $39 for the palette versus $16 for the single shadow, I’m willing to overlook the minor difference.

The palette is a nice selection of warm-toned shades, with a blue and green to brighten things up – From left to right, the colors in this set are: Caught in the Act Courtney, Feisty Felicia, Insane Jane, Bossy Bobbi, Makeout Mary, Just This Once Jamie, Mischievous Marisa, Tempting Tara, and Devilish Danielle.

So many great combos possible, here is just one to wet your whistle. :)
