We’re in the middle of cold and flu season, so I have to say I was really glad to read The Good Doctor’s Guide To Colds and Flu. It’s a very easy book to read, presented in language and terms that are not challenging for non-medical professionals to read.
Dr. Schachter happens to be the husband of Deb from No Nonsense Beauty, the fearless leader of the Fashion Flash (on a side note, check out the latest Fashion Flash blog roundup here). He specializes in all things related to the lungs and is the Medical Director of the Respiratory Care Department of Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Needless to say, Dr. Schachter knows what he’s talking about and shares some great information in The Good Doctor’s Guide To Colds and Flu. The tagline is “How to prevent and treat colds, flue, sinusitis, bronchitis, strep throat and pneumonia at any age.” The book is chock full of great tips, including the fact that you can hum away sinus pain. Who knew? I’ve learned so much from this book and am glad for the knowledge.
To celebrate the release of The Good Doctor’s Guide To Colds and Flu, I’m giving away the book along with a mug and a $50 gift certificate to Sephora.
