If there’s one makeup brand that causes me to snap to attention when a new product line is announced, it’s definitely Sydney Grace Cosmetics. They’ve recently released 13 new military-inspired single shadows.
There were three shades in the new release that caught my eye and so I ordered General, Admiral and Troops.
I have a couple more shades I’m pondering, but for now I have to say I’m a little past the point of ordering every single product from every single collection. It’s that konmari spirit at work – I only want things that spark joy and I do recognize that clutter of things I’m just “meh” about isn’t worth it.
Sydney Grace is definitely a must watch makeup company for me right now. I love this boutique beauty brand for many reasons, mainly the fact that the quality of the shadows are incredible! Truly, they are highly pigmented, so smooth and even the mattes are easy to work with. I even place ColourPop’s single shadows one notch below Sydney Grace in terms of quality and I do love ColourPop’s single shadows.
Here’s a closer look at General, a matte army green. This color makes me swoon – I really don’t have anything like this in my collection and it’s just stunning.
Admiral is a matte olive green.
And Troops, which is a shimmery purple/taupe.
For this look, I applied Admiral in the outer corner of my lid with Troops on the lid. Wet n Wild Brulee eyeshadow is on my browbone. General is the liner on the top of my lid and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liner in Deep Love is on my lower lid.
The products featured in Army Green Makeup Inspiration Featuring New Sydney Grace Cosmetics Single Eyeshadows were purchased by me. All opinions are 100% my own.
