Having tried many a “natural” beauty line in my time, I can tell you that the really good ones stand out from the crowd. Suzanne Organics stands out with bright, flying colors and that’s a very good thing.
Now, I have to tell you something (which doesn’t in any way affect my review of the Suzanne Organics beauty products), which is that I am a huge fan of Suzanne Somers! I grew up watching Suzanne on TV on shows that include Three’s Company, She’s The Sherriff (raise your hands if you remember that one!), and Step By Step. Many years later I saw her pop up on talk shows promoting her book Eat Great, Lose Weight. I purchased that book (and then another when I misplaced the first) and I still use the recipes and advice from that book to this very day.
It was a thrill to have the opportunity to try out some products from the Suzanne Organics beauty line, which encompasses everything from makeup, skincare, nail products and hair care. The site as a whole is worth taking a look at – the products are fascinating!
Overall, I will tell you that the products I tried from the Suzanne Organics line are really well done. The textures are smooth, the pigmentation is excellent, and the colors remain true as I wear them through the day. If anything, the powder products are a bit over powdery. The packaging is rubberized and it feels quite similar to Nars makeup packaging.
As a serum aficionado, I picked up the Suzanne Organics Liquid Oxygen Therapy Facial Serum ($49.99), which soothes skin and helps reverse signs of aging thanks to the power of oxygen. The Suzanne Organics Anti-Aging Eye Cream ($34.99) is nutrient-rich with ingredients that include Swiss apple stems and sea algae extracts. As a bonus, you can also use this around your lips!
I created a natural and pretty makeup look with a few key makeup products from Suzanne Organics. I started with the Suzanne Organics Sheer Flawless Foundation ($39.99) in Honey-Medium, which is the perfect shade for my skin tone. It contains antioxidants along with Aloe Leaf Juice, Tea Tree, Jojoba and Grape Seed Oils.
I used the Suzanne Organics Sheer Pressed Powder in Medium-Dark ($34.99) to set the foundation. This powder doesn’t do very well for oil control, which is something for my fellow oily skinned folks to be aware of.
The Suzanne Organics Multiple Stick in Sunrise Color ($39.99) is straight up gorgeous! This is such a pretty cream highlighter that makes my skin look so dewy.
I contoured my face with the Suzanne Organics Bronzing Powder ($34.99) in and finished my face with the Suzanne Organics Natural Blushing Powder in Caramelized Peach ($29.99).
For my eye makeup look, I used The Suzanne Organics Creamy Eye Shadow in Obsidian ($24.99) as a base.
I used the Eyeshadow Quad in Golden Shimmer ($39.99) which is so pretty. Here’s swatches of those 4 color along with the bronzing powder.
Here’s a quick breakdown of how I applied the eyeshadow quad. I used the darkest shade in the outer corner, the medium shade on my eyelids, and the light gold on my browbone and inner corner of my lid.
On my lips I used Suzanne Organics Sheer Satin Lipstick in Caramelized Peach ($24.99). The texture of these lipsticks is so creamy and rich. I’m glad I also picked up Coral Crush!
The final look is such a pretty and fresh look!
My Final Thoughts: I’m really enjoying the Suzanne Organics products that I used to created today’s natural makeup look. The quality overall is very good! If you’d like to try any of these products, head over to the Suzanne Organics website and use code PRIMP20 for 20% off your order!
