Sonia Kashuk is directly responsible for the way I apply makeup.
Kinda.
Way back in the early days of my makeup obsession education, I started experimenting with various application techniques. To make my eyes look a certain way I needed flat brushes, and so I sought them from the Sonia Kashuk cosmetics line available exclusively at Target. I still reach for the brushes I purchased all those years ago and have come to know Sonia Kashuk as a high-quality brand at extremely affordable prices.
I recently had the opportunity to use some of her newest products – I was sent some eye shadow quads, a bronzer, lipsticks, and nail polishes to use. To say that I’m impressed by the quality of these items is a massive understatement. From the sophisticated packaging to the performance of the products, luxury is now available for a whole lot less.
This eyeshadow addict is in love. From the shadow colors to the sleek, white case, the Eye Quads are just plain gorgeous. These shadows are creamy and highly pigmented, and they blend beautifully. Each palette contains four complementary shades to create multiple looks: two neutrals and two party-ready shimmers.
More than anything I’m really impressed with the quality of the glitter eyeshadows: chunky glitter shadows that stay on the lids and don’t migrate to the rest of one’s person? Now THAT is an accomplishment!
The Showstoppers quad contains 4 glittery shades that are beautiful on their own as well as combined with other shades. This quad is a great one to have if you want to change up your day makeup to something sultry and exotic for night.
The Shimmering Sands quad contains gorgeous neutrals that can help you create an old-school bombshell eye with a little extra shimmer.
Fair and Square is the quad you’ll be reaching for day in and day out. Containing pink, bronze, and glitter, it’s perfection.
The rest of the Sonia Kashuk collection is equally as impressive.
The Satin Luxe Lip Color has the most luscious formula.
Housed in sleekly squared tubes, these creamy and pigmented lipsticks are what you’ll want to wear all summer. It’s elegance that lasts; you won’t have to worry about the lipsticks pulling a disappearing act shortly after application. There are 14 shades in this formula. I tried Classic Red and Pink Punch.
Just look at the gorgeous Illuminating Bronzer! Croc pattern! Beautiful case! I’m gaga for it! The great news is that the flawless formula is sheer and buildable which helps avoid color overload. I apply it where the sun would naturally tan for a smooth, silky glow.
As for the nail polishes, they are your ticket to bright and colorful hands, perfectly appropriate for summer. I am totally digging the blue, called Fairy Princess, which sets off a tan perfectly. Sonia’s Nail Colours are the most affordable “3-free” polish on the market — free of the most common toxic chemicals found in nail polish: Dibutyl Phthalate (BDP), Formaldehyde and Toluene.
From left to right, the colors are Fairy Princess, Tango Mango, and Golden Ticket.

I really like the bronzer.

The chunky glitters look interesting… i always figured they would be prone to tons of fallout.
Sonia Kashuk makes my favorite crease brush ever!!
looks like a quality product!
To go from Day to Night, I’d add false lashes if it was a big night
To transform my eye makeup to go from day to night, I usually add some glitter or shimmery color to my shadows. Or add a deeper/darker color above my eye liner.

Since I rarely wear make-up during the day first just putting some on. Night, if I go out, wear eyeshadow, eyeliner on top lid, eyelash primer and mascara on top lashes
I add winged eyeliner and false lashes and maybe a smokey eyeshadow to transform my look from day to night!

For me it’s mascara and lipstick during the day. So when it’s time to dress for an evening out, I add eye shadow and liner to give my eyes that extra ‘kick’.
Thanks.
i like the colors . . . . neutral with flair
I intensify colors & add eyeliner & highlighter.
I use a little more drama in color, mascara, and sparkleJ

I transform it by adding more liner, more mascara, and deepening the shadow. Sometimes I apply false lashes.

To go from a day to evening look, I deepen the eye and lip make up colors and add more dramatic earrings

Those colors are so pretty
I basically just use darker shades of eyeshadow and eyeliner to take my day look to night. That’s also when I’d be more likely to wear red lipstick, but then I wouldn’t do as much eye makeup.
Just tweeted about it: https://twitter.com/Rawdorable/status/210011175495274496
Smudging! This is pretty much a way to do it instantly, as slightly smudging day eye make-up with a little dark liner makes you look chic quick.
I don’t wear a great deal of makeup, but if I go out in the evening I wear a little more mascara and maybe a little eye shadow.

I just add a little color with a bright lip color. I enjoy your blog, thanks for the giveaway!
I’ll smoke out the eyes or change to a more intense, brighter lipstick.
I add tails to my liner and metallic eyeliner over my liner. Makes my eyes pop. Thanks!
I use a dark liner on my waterline, and darken up my crease shade.

DARK LINER IS A MUST.
I will add a more dramatic color to my neutral day time eyeshadow and I really only wear liner at night as well.
