Sonia Kashuk is directly responsible for the way I apply makeup.
Kinda.
Way back in the early days of my makeup obsession education, I started experimenting with various application techniques. To make my eyes look a certain way I needed flat brushes, and so I sought them from the Sonia Kashuk cosmetics line available exclusively at Target. I still reach for the brushes I purchased all those years ago and have come to know Sonia Kashuk as a high-quality brand at extremely affordable prices.
I recently had the opportunity to use some of her newest products – I was sent some eye shadow quads, a bronzer, lipsticks, and nail polishes to use. To say that I’m impressed by the quality of these items is a massive understatement. From the sophisticated packaging to the performance of the products, luxury is now available for a whole lot less.
This eyeshadow addict is in love. From the shadow colors to the sleek, white case, the Eye Quads are just plain gorgeous. These shadows are creamy and highly pigmented, and they blend beautifully. Each palette contains four complementary shades to create multiple looks: two neutrals and two party-ready shimmers.
More than anything I’m really impressed with the quality of the glitter eyeshadows: chunky glitter shadows that stay on the lids and don’t migrate to the rest of one’s person? Now THAT is an accomplishment!
The Showstoppers quad contains 4 glittery shades that are beautiful on their own as well as combined with other shades. This quad is a great one to have if you want to change up your day makeup to something sultry and exotic for night.
The Shimmering Sands quad contains gorgeous neutrals that can help you create an old-school bombshell eye with a little extra shimmer.
Fair and Square is the quad you’ll be reaching for day in and day out. Containing pink, bronze, and glitter, it’s perfection.
The rest of the Sonia Kashuk collection is equally as impressive.
The Satin Luxe Lip Color has the most luscious formula.
Housed in sleekly squared tubes, these creamy and pigmented lipsticks are what you’ll want to wear all summer. It’s elegance that lasts; you won’t have to worry about the lipsticks pulling a disappearing act shortly after application. There are 14 shades in this formula. I tried Classic Red and Pink Punch.
Just look at the gorgeous Illuminating Bronzer! Croc pattern! Beautiful case! I’m gaga for it! The great news is that the flawless formula is sheer and buildable which helps avoid color overload. I apply it where the sun would naturally tan for a smooth, silky glow.
As for the nail polishes, they are your ticket to bright and colorful hands, perfectly appropriate for summer. I am totally digging the blue, called Fairy Princess, which sets off a tan perfectly. Sonia’s Nail Colours are the most affordable “3-free” polish on the market — free of the most common toxic chemicals found in nail polish: Dibutyl Phthalate (BDP), Formaldehyde and Toluene.
From left to right, the colors are Fairy Princess, Tango Mango, and Golden Ticket.

Such pretty things! To take my eye makeup from day to night, I usually wipe it all off and start fresh
OMG! I NEED that bronzer and those polishes gorg collection.
I just add bolder colors. I make my eyeliner bolder and thinker. Layer on more mascara and add bolder eyeshadow
I’m just like Emi above – I totally wash off the day’s makeup and start over (or just start fresh if I didn’t wear makeup that day). If I’ve ever made day makeup into night makeup, I probably just touched up any faded or smeared spots.
I tweeted it! https://twitter.com/RiffRaffRanch/status/209688173641613315
Hope to win! As for making it a night out look, thivken the liner, and blend for a Smokey eyes to kill

Usually I’ll put a layer of brighter, darker or glittiery (that is now a word) shadow on over what I’ve got on, use an eye pencil to make my eye liner more dramatic, and put on another coat of mascara. Possibly put some sparkly highlighter on the cheekbones.
For daytime just use mascara, and for nighttime add eyeliner and eyeshadow.

I add dark liquid eyeliner and brush a highlighter across my browbones. That seems to be a quick, easy way to transition
Layer on more mascara and add bolder eyeshadow

I always wear mascara during the day and if I am going out in the evening I will wear eye shadows- shades of brown tend to look good for me.

I will use my day make up as a base, darken the crease and line my eyes heavier, then a touch of sparkle on the brow bone!
To go from day to night I usually add a coat of mascara, maybe some pencil on my lower lash line and add some sparkle to my eyeshadow. I just wanted to say thanks for sharing those nail polish swatches…those are the exact colors I have been searching for lately (it’s weird how hard it is to find a gold metallic!)
I tweeted about it too! https://twitter.com/queenielizzie/status/209719189152333827
Thank you!
I luuuuv Sonia Kashuk, always have.
For day to night, I generally refresh my liner and mascara, then add either something a little deeper to my eye color or a little sparklier. Generally I know in the morning that I will be transitioning to evening at the end of the day, so I’ll do a look that works well with piling more on top. Then I make sure to do my lips, which often go darker for night.
I use mascara all day, and liner at night. thank you for the chance.

I add a darker shadow to get a smokey eye look.
For me, it’s all about the liner. I pump up my eyes for evening with some bold, dark liner and I’m ready to go.
Heavier mascara and make it a bit smokey
LOVE Sonia Kashuk and LOVE Tar-zhey!!! So happy they finally came to Hawaii!!! : )
I always wear mascara and bronzer. But at night I just put on more and add eyeshadow!
Whoops — didn’t read the post:
I generally darken up my eyeliner and add some dark shadow in the outer “v.”

I tend to go very neutral on the eyes, so for me day to night is all about a little black eyeliner!
I don’t use any make up during the day, but apply some mascara and eye shadows at night.

I keep it fairly neutral for day, so I just apply a bit more darker shadow blended in the crease, and some extra black mascara. Voila’!
I add black eyeliner and darken the crease and sometimes I’ll add shimmer.
I usually add some smokey darker colors for the night.
Thanks so much.

Thanks again.
These look lovely! I have never tried this brand, but I am definitely intrigued now.
To go from Day to Night I usually reapply my eye with a more dramatic hand and switch up my lipstick to something I would not normally wear to the office (which sadly, is not much lol!)
Gorgeous, just colors! I love a good liquid eyeliner to create a smokey for a night time look & add a red lip for a pop of color, gorgeous polishes

I use a darker eyeliner.
I remove my eye makeup entirely if I’m doing a different look for night. I wear pretty dramatic makeup during the day so it’s usually not that much of a difference…maybe more glitter!
