As an already huge fan of Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream, my dry winter hands were thrilled when Burt’s Bees Hand Salve recently entered my life.
Burt’s Bees Hand Salve has the subtitle of “a farmer’s friend”, but it’s also the friend of anyone who experiences extreme dryness. Between frequent washing and changes in the California weather pattern that has us freezing cold one day and sweating the next, my skin is paying the price with epic dryness. With peeling and roughness as a fact of life, I’m in need of intense help!
Is it greasy? A tad bit. I would recommend applying this at night or first thing in the morning if greasy hands bother you. Personally, I find that a little bit goes a long way and the salve absorbs into the skin quickly so I’m not bothered by any greasiness. The rosemary scent is mild, but that’s just my sense of smell.
I’m basically going to have to start a stockpile of Burt’s Bees Cuticle Cream and Hand Salve because I can’t imagine being without either. Here’s to happy hands!
My Final Thoughts: My dry hands are feeling soothed with the moisture provided by Burt’s Bees Hands Salve. Enriched with nourishing Sweet Almond, Beeswax, and Olive Oil, this is another bargain win.
