A package full of Pacifica Coconut Skincare recently arrived at Painted Ladies headquarters, and it was quite the welcome sight! Coconut is the perfect skincare ingredient – it’s known to hydrate, tone and deliver deep hydration to skin that could use some TLC.
Pacifica is a long-time favorite beauty brand that has some really solid performing products. Pacifica has the distinction of having skincare and makeup products that are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, natural, paraben-free, sulfate-free and all around good for you and your skin.
It’s the middle of the hot days of Summer, and my skin is totally feeling it. My son and I are really enjoying the outdoors these days, and the heat combined with sweat and all of the other things that come along with being outdoors means my skin definitely needs extra attention this year! Here are a few of the Pacifica Coconut Skincare products I’m using and enjoying.
I love a good micellar water and Pacifica Coconut Water Micellar Cleansing Tonic ($12) is a great one. This removes all traces of makeup, but I have to advise you to be careful around the eye area – it stings my eyes a bit!
Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes ($6) and Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes ($9) are two products that I keep close by! I wouldn’t say they’re the best for removing tough eye makeup, but the Purify wipes are nice and refreshing at the end of the day. The Deodorant wipes are amazing and a must have that stay in my gym bag – enough said!
The Pacifica Hot Vegan Probiotic & Spice Rehab Mask ($15) is one of the newest favorite masks in my skincare rotation. This is a really cool product unlike any I’ve tried before! It contains Ayurvedic herbs and ingredients like pepper and cardamom that help detox your pores. It doesn’t heat up too terribly on your skin – it’s a gel that dries down and is easy to remove.
After I mask, I’m enjoying the Pacifica Coconut Probiotic Water Rehab Cream ($16) which is lightweight and adds a nice amount of hydration. I’ve never used a product with probiotics, which is a nice touch that helps keep skin renewed and refreshed.
My lips are loving Pacifica Sun + Lipcare Mineral Color Lip Balm in Nude ($4.99).
Isn’t the color perfect? The texture is a bit thicker than other balms I use, but it does add some nice hydration, and I like the fact that it’s water resistant for 80 minutes, has a SPF of 30 and is free of chemical UV absorbers. Lips do need extra TLC – I know because mine have picked up some sun spots through the years!
My Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for some refreshing and renewing skincare this Summer (and beyond), check out these Pacifica picks!
