Refresh Your Hair With Roux’s Porosity Control Corrector & Conditioner

By Sheila Arkee

For the past few weeks my hair has been nothing short of a hot mess. Nothing has been helping the dryness and extra dose of frizz, and I have been trying everything from apple cider vinegar rinses to warm olive oil treatments to you name it.

After nothing but frustration, I remembered Roux’s Porosity Control Corrector & Conditoner, which is a product that I’ve used before but somehow managed to forget in recent times.

This stuff is fabulous. An affirmed non-shampoo-er of over ten years, I purchased the Conditioner and it has made my hair extremely happy again.

If your hair is color-treated, chemically-treated, dry, or in a funk, Porosity Control is a winner. I don’t recommend using the Porosity Control every time you wash your hair, but once a week is a good amount of time to keep your hair in gear. Also, make sure to use Porosity Control before any kind of chemical treatment.

You can find Porosity Control and other products by Roux at Sally Beauty Supply. Speaking of, how is it that I’ve been neglecting Sally’s for so long? Seriously, it’s been ages since I’ve been in there and I always walk out with some great new find.

I’ve never heard of this product-will HAVE to try! My hair is curly-similar to yours. I started doing coconut oil treatments (got a big jar at Wal-Mart for $7). Just microwave a few spoonfuls for 25 seconds, and I’ve had amazing results with it!

Coconut oil rocks! :) You will definitely love Porosity Control, too!
