The elf Cosmetics skincare products featured in this post were provided for editorial consideration. All opinions are 100% my own.
It’s official – we are in February, Daylight Savings is imminent (March 11th, woo hoo!) and we are completely finished with the Holiday season. As is typical with the time of the year, our skincare routines might need a little bit of attention! elf Cosmetics recently sent over a few of their newest skincare offerings that my skin is truly impressed with.
My biggest skincare sin during the colder weather months is falling asleep with my makeup on. Shamelessly, too! I’m not sure if it’s because of the sun setting earlier, but when I’m ready to sleep I just go to sleep! My skin doesn’t really appreciate when this happens, so I’m always looking for ways to treat it well. These skincare picks from elf Cosmetics are nifty and I’m definitely picking up some more when I’ve finished my current supply.
elf Cosmetics Recharging Magnetic Mask Kit ($24) is truly one of the most interesting masks I’ve ever used -and I love a good mask! This mask contains iron, carrot seed oil, sunflower seed oil, vitamins C and E and argan oil. To use it you simply apply the mask, let it set for 5 – 1- minutes then remove it with the magnetic tool that’s included with the kit.
It’s so cool! I was notified that you get easier clean up results when you cover the magnetic tool with a tissue, which is true. I’ll never get over seeing my mask leap up from my skin! You’re not supposed to rinse your skin after use, but I’d definitely add a moisturizer. This mask helps remove impurities from your skin and add softness.
The elf Hydrating Water Sheet Mask ($3) is a mask of a different type all together. It hydrates and nourishes and sure feels good on those mornings after I’ve fallen asleep without washing my face. Key ingredients in this mask are purified water, aloe and hyaluronic acid. Moisture on point!
The elf Charcoal Hydrogel Under Eye Masks ($8) are are a tired girl’s dream come true. So soothing and filled with soothing ingredients which include aloe, seaweed, charcoal and licorice. There are 3 sets per pack and I’m getting more!
elf Cosmetics Prep & Hydrate Balm ($8) has made it into my purse (aka, purse-zilla) and I’ve been using it on a daily basis as my post -workout moisturizer. It contains purified water, aloe, shea butter and vitamin e. Despite the shea butter it’s not heavy at all – it gives my skin lightweight nourishment that feels great.
My Final Thoughts: Here’s to elf Cosmetics for bringing their A game to their new skincare products. The magnetic mask is definitely worth trying and their price is on point!
Rating: A, overall
Price: $3 – $24
