When I pass by the Physicians Formula display at a drugstore I usually keep on walking. Although I have a couple of favorites from this line, by and large I’m not wowed by their offerings. This has changed, however, with their Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio for brown eyes. Try typing that 3 times fast!
There are a few cosmetic items I have a hard time overlooking – shimmery pink lip gloss, for one – and eyeliner is another one of those products. Priced at $12, you get 3 eyeliners for about $4 each, which is an offer I couldn’t refuse and had to indulge.
The set for brown eyes comes with a shimmery black, a chocolate brown, and a purple liner. Let me tell you right now, the purple is worth the price of admission, on its own.
These liners are vibrant, smooth, and last the live-long day, except on the waterline, which is typical with other liners for me.
The end of the liner pops off to reveal a sharpener for the pencils, which isn’t necessary but a cute added touch.
The tide on my general opinion of Physician’s Formula has taken a turn for the better. Quite the deal and worth the bang for your buck.
I’ve been meaning to try PF’s eyeliner – the gel stuff and others. The sharpener is a great idea!
