Being the kind of person who is unable to resist any kind of a deal, I recently took up CVS’s offer for $7 in Extra Value Bucks with any $10 Physicians Formula purchase. The brand new Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush in Natural has had my eye for a while now, and with an additional $3 coupon, I was completely sold.
Besides being a beautiful, shimmery pink blush, this paraben-free product comes with a Phermone Boosting Blend and the “Seductive Scent” of vanilla. Studies have shown that men are attracted to food scents, interestingly enough. Makes total sense, right?
The packaging of this blush is pretty much the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen from a budget-friendly brand. Although the cute shoe charm fell right off, I love the “book” effect and that there is a mirror with a decent mini-kabuki brush in the back.
As far as the performance of this blush, I am certainly impressed with the longevity. I find that my cheeks are still shimmering away up to 8 hours of application.
About the added phermones, Physicians Formula says that this blush is: “Infused with the scent of warm vanilla, “afterglow” illumination and phermone-mimicking ingredients including clinically tested androstadienone, cocoa extract (aka “the Love Chemical”) and ancient aphrodisiac horny goatweed to enhance your sexy side.” It is also paraben-free, gluten-free, oil-free, and hypoallergenic.
Have the added phermones led to any kind of unusual male attention? No, but my son attempted to bite my cheek yesterday. Does that count?
