Love is in the air.

By now you must know how that story goes. A woman spends years searching for that long, sought-after scent, searching high and low and leaving no fragrance counter untouched in her quest for the perfect floral that will compliment her existing collection. And then it happens – perfection when it’s least expected in philosophy’s newest fragrance, loveswept, one that’s aptly been called both vibrant and romantic.

You might want to call the love doctor, because I’ve been utterly swept off my feet by philosophy loveswept fragrance.

Philosophy Loveswept 1

There’s something about just the right fragrance that sets the mood for the season, and I have to say the sophisticated floral tones of loveswept really hit the mark.  With fragrance notes of fresh bergamot, citrus, pink jasmine, lotus blossom, and purple passion fruit, one thing that stands out to me is that it’s definitely as vibrant and sparkling as philosophy describes it being. I just adore citrus fragrance notes.

Far from one of those stereotypical “grandma” florals, it’s something that makes me think about Spring, when life is new and new beginnings are in the air. Loveswept lasts a long, long time and I can still get whiffs of the fragrance 8 hours after initial application. That’s a good thing.

As a fan of scents that have citrus and bergamot, I found that I loved loveswept at first sniff. To confirm my thoughts, I took loveswept on the road and shoved my wrist into the noses of friends to get their opinions. The consensus? Across the board philosophy loveswept was a huge hit, and received praises all around.

Whether you’re freshly in love, have been in a relationship for many years or, hey a perpetual singleton (like me! no shame!), I say Valentine’s Day is a perfect time to treat yourself to a little something special. Why not  make it philosophy loveswept?

In honor of loveswept, philosophy is offering up a romantic trip for 2 to Paris, with 10 runners up winning the loveswept fragrance and other philosophy favorites, and 20 to win a loveswept body lotion. Enter via this Facebook link, and if you win the trip to Paris, take me!

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by philosophy through their partnership with POPSUGAR. While I was compensated by POPSUGAR to write a post about philosophy, all opinions are my own.

Beautifully written. And Paris is such a fabulous place to be, especially if you are there with a love.

I like what you said— perpetual singleton. I think it’s better to be single than stay in a relationship beset with issues. That’s one thousand and one less headache to deal with, haha! But as the saying goes, the right guy will come at the right time. Hugs!!!

I love citrus scents, too. Great advice to be your own Valentine, too. This is one of those ‘Hallmark Holidays’ in my opinion, but treating yourself and those you love well and with respect is deserved every day…
