The Persona Cosmetics Color Theory Eye Kit Copper is quickly proving to be a favorite! I’m really impressed with this neatly packaged eye makeup trio that includes a 5-pan eyeshadow palette, an eye pencil and domed eye brush.
The quality of these shadows is excellent and lives up to the great reputation that I’ve read of in various places. The colors are lovely and I really had fun creating a bronze smokey eyeshadow look.
To start off any eyeshadow look, an eyeshadow primer is a must, must, must have. I really like Smashbox’s 24 Hour Primer along with Milani’s Eyeshadow Primer. Both help anchor shadow to your lids as well as help your eyeshadow blend more smoothly.
For an extra smokey look, start off your eyeshadow application by laying down your eyeliner first, then blend it out with a domed eyeshadow brush and a matching eyshadow. This makes eyes look so smokey! For this look I used Persona Cosmetics Brown Eye Pencil and Dark Brown eyeshadow.
I also applied Brick on the outer corner of my eyelids and blended it with Dark Brown. Then, I used a flat brush to apply Copper to my inner eyelid.
I finished the look with Off White in my inner corner and browbone. And added more of the brown eye pencil to the inner waterline of my lower lid and on my upper lid.
FYI, the latest Fashion Flash is live. Stay tuned because we have six giveaways coming this month including a $50 Sephora gift card right here!
