With nearly a thousand days of 365 Days of Eyeshadow/Makeup under my belt, it’s safe to say I am a fanatic about all things related to making up the eyes. Show me a new shadow, mascara, or liner and I am all over it! You can imagine how thrilled I was to receive and test two liners from Painted Earth Cosmetics – their Super Wear Gel Liner pencil and their Painted Endelible Gel Liner.
First up, the Super Wear Gel Liner pencil in Noir ($18.50) which is a richly pigmented gel liner formulated with Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil.
The color payoff on this pencil is fantastic – some of the best I’ve seen in the business. The texture is smooth, not slippery, and manages to last on my waterline for hours on end. I am seriously impressed by the longevity
I found the Painted Endelible Gel Liner ($17.80) to be similarly impressive. Even more so because the gel is just as fresh and ready to wear weeks after its been initially opened, which automatically makes it a winner in my book.
The color payoff on this liner is very rich, with a formula that is more “wet” than MAC’s Fluidlines and dries down once applied on your eyes.
These gel liners have a permanent place in my makeup kit – they’re great! I’ve been wearing them a lot lately, like in day 193 of 365 Days of Makeup 3.0, where I used the gel liner on the top lid and the gel pencil in the waterline.
