Like other NYX products I’ve tested recently, I am far from disappointed with their new Mood Lip Glosses, in fact, I am absolutely infatuated. These lippies deliver long-wearing shine with a texture that won’t drag down your lips nor pull a disappearing act. I didn’t find myself feeling bothered by the taste, which is always a good thing. The glosses slick on clear, and in quick speed develop into a shade customized by your skin chemistry and body heat.
There are four shades of NYX’s Mood Lip Gloss. I tried three:
Affectionate – Strawberry scented with a hint of pearly shimmer.
Blue Smile Brightener – Behold the wonders of blue! Not only does this help make your teeth look a little lighter, it adds a gorgeous tint of mauve to your lips.
Adding a bit of blue to a red lipstick produces a gorgeous tint. The lipstick in the photos is NYX’s Round Lipstick in Electra, which happens to be one of my all time favorite reds.
Sensual – Comes across as a deep mulberry on the lips.
