I don’t know about you, but I’m having a hard time believing that YouTube just turned a measly 4 years old. This popular video sharing site reaches the masses, and allows people to connect and share information in very unique ways, especially in the beauty realm.
In the stone ages pre-YouTube, if you wanted to show people how to smoke out an eye or contour a cheek you’d have to write a step-by-step tutorial that may have included still photos taken in your bathroom with a bad glare from the flash. Now, in modern times, you can include the world (or at least those interested in your subject) as you take them through a real time demonstration.
There are so many YouTube users who produce some really amazing makeup tutorials. We’ll feature many in the future, and today’s YouTube Makeup Genius award goes to MissChievous, aka Julia, a European beauty fanatic and blogger who just knocks me over with her talent and passion.
This gal knows her stuff. She is obviously a major beauty junkie, which makes a huge difference in the end product’s quality. After watching several of her tutorials, I am consistently impressed with her presentation skills, her makeup abilities, and the production quality of her videos. She’s got it going on, for sure, and to boot she’s TRILINGUAL! Go, girl! Go, girl!
