Hello, world. I am a blogger who is also a certified blog junkie. With over 500 blogs in my Google Reader account, one of my true pleasures is to spend downtime catching up with my favorite sites. There are a few that have earned the designation of “all-time favorites”, the ones I look up to in terms of content, photography, and individual style.
In the blogging biz, it’s frequently said that content is king, a sentiment I completely agree with. My goal as a blogger is to always improve my content, photography, and expression of style, and these are the blogs I look to for inspiration.
All hail Bakeralla, the most creative baker I have ever seen. She started the cake pop phenomenon and she’s still constantly coming up with incredibly cool designs. Case in point? Her Halloween-themed pops which were filmed in color and are so cool, they look like they’re black & white photos. From the photography to her style, everything is on point. Bake on, Bakerella.
A lifestyle blog helmed by two sisters, this blog has the most scrumptious photos, innovative ideas, and mad, mad style I’ll just always aspire to have. I want to be like these super cool bloggers when I grow up.
This blog, “for all who love color”, features one thing – color combinations based from flora, fauna, nature, everyday life. These are great inspirations for 365 Days of Makeup, and have helped me take more notice of my surroundings for unique ideas.
A zebra drawn carriage?!?! J’adore the way this Paris-based blogger features the most interesting and unusual posts. A post about an airplane decorated in Hello Kitty is what brought me to this blog and I haven’t been able to turn away since.
What are some of your favorite non-beauty blogs?
