My Favorite Eyeshadows: Greens

By Sheila Arkee

Continuing on with this series about my all-time favorite eyeshadows, let’s discuss green. As I mentioned earlier this week, I believe that greens are completely underrated and should be worn more often! Here is a rundown of the green shades that have earned a place in my heart.

theBalm Jealous Jordana

After being introduced to this dark, smoky, shimmery shade last year, I quickly became obsessed. It’s such a unique color and has become a staple for smoky eyes and as a contrast shade.

Sweet Libertine Emerald Fog

Emerald Fog is an ethereal light green that is ever so pretty for a little bit of a change.

Sweet Libertine The Luckiest

Man, I love this golden green, it’s one of my favorites to use on the lid.

Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette

This is $4.99 of fabulous, and I declare that everyone must own this palette. Gorgeous colors from the top to the bottom. It’s a bit fragile, but at the price point who can complain?

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Bitmap Pigment

This apple green pigment is just plain beautiful. Sometimes I catch myself staring at the jar, simply mesmerized by the color.

L’Oreal Infallible Golden Sage

A newer favorite, I can’t speak highly enough about this green. The formula is entirely fabulous, as is the color itself.

MAC Club

What else can you say about this incredible duochrome except that it’s irreplacable? I

MAC Humid

This is such a great basic green, a must have that I haven’t seen in any other brand.

MAC Fiction

This is the perfect smoky olive green.

The Coastal Scents 88 Palette

This palette is a must on every list because it has some highly pigmented MATTE options, with some great bright greens.

If you missed it, here’s part 1 of My Favorite Eyeshadows, which focused on gold and tan shadows.

Greens and Blues look amazing on brown eyes!!! Darker shades of blue, green and violet make a great alternative to grays, browns and black for smoky eyes.

They are all gorgeous on you, but I think my favorite is Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Bitmap Pigment. x
