So far we’ve talked about my favorite gold and green shadows, now lets talk about blues. If you ever hear anyone telling you blue eyeshadow is unacceptable, DON’T LISTEN TO THEM! The variety of blue shadows has come a long way in recent years and it’s easier to wear than you’d think. If you have brown eyes, blues are especially lovely. From dark, smoky colors to bright aquas, here are the shades that have won a piece of my heart.
There is only one word to describe this $4.99 palette, and that is EPIC! It contains everything from light gold to highlight, to shimmery teal, to midnight blue.
This blue is so unique and I absolutely adore it.
If you are going to purchase any variety of the 88 palette (it’s sold by a variety of companies under the umbrella term 88 palette), it is worth it just for this aqua shade. So gorgeous, I’m going to be sad when this color runs out and the other 87 are no where near being done.
How can I leave this color out??? 🙂
I used this color in one of my all-time most popular looks for the first year of 365 Days of Makeup. A great light blue.
This is such an usual color, but so necessary. Use it on your lid for maximum impact or as a liner for a little bit of fun.
One of my all-time favorite smoky lid colors, this is an awesome purpley-blue.
This shimmery aqua is a mainstay in my regular shadow rotation. Love it!
This duochrome is a great medium blue for those who want to start using blue shadows and yet might feel a little scared about going the full monty.
Totally different than anything on this list, it’s one of my favorites as a blue liner.
What are some of your favorite blue eyeshadows?
