Did I ever tell you I have a dream of doing a beauty tour of Los Angeles? True. I think it would be highly successful for beauty junkies such as ourselves and would consist of a group tour to Frends and Namie’s Beauty Supply, a trip to the Hollywood Museum (aka ,the Max Factor Museum) and lastly a trip to Bite Beauty LA Lip Lab where we could make custom lipsticks. Fun, no?
Maybe my dream will become a reality at some point (I so hope it does!), and in the meanwhile I’m living my best lipstick mixing life with a kit provided by Pixi Beauty when they sent over the newest shades of Pixi Beauty Matte Last Liquid Lip.
Pixi Beauty is having a contest where you can mix up a color they’ll produce as a shade in the line as well as a trip to Pixi Beauty in Los Angeles for a custom makeover. Fun!
Before I show you the shade I mixed up (while living my best lipstick mixologist life), I have to share lip swatches of the new Pixi Beauty Matte Last Liquid Lip colors. You can find lip swatches of Au Naturelle, Bare Beauty, Matte Beige, Pastel Petal and Really Rose here.
Here’s Evening Rose
When it came down to mixing the perfect shade of Pixi Beauty Matte Last Liquid Lip, I knew I wanted my lip color to have a total 90’s edge. I started out with a red base and added in a heaping amount of brown.
I then added a touch of yellow and white and I’m pleased with the results!
Please pick me, Pixi Beauty!
