Now here is a round-up I’ve been wanting to put together for quite some time, a list of my very favorite red-toned lip colors. Red comes in many different hues, and here are a few that have a permanent place in my makeup collection.
NYX Round Lip Stick in Electra
This is one of my all-time favorite lip colors, period. It’s a rich, creamy texture and the color is incredible. A yellow-based red, it is one serious lipstick!
If you’re wary of wearing reds, this is a good lipstick to start with. Blended with a good dose of gold it gives a great bit of color without being overwhelming.
NYX Xtreme Cream Lip Color in Absolute Red
Oh my goodness. This lip product, which is somewhere between a gloss and a satin lipstick, is sincerely fantastic. From the color to the texture, it’s an all out win.
A classic! Just looking at the picture makes me think early ’90′s, Kevyn Aucoin, matte, matte, matte!
Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple
I am constantly fawning over this muted red because it is just that perfect. Seriously. Get one!
Mercy me, I adore this burgundy lip!
Make Up For Ever Lab Shine in M10
I’m still crazy about this blue-based red. Perfect formula, perfect color, what else do you need?
