By now, after two years of blogging and a year and a half of a daily makeup project, it is firmly established that I am a huge fan of Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On liner in Zero. No doubt whatsoever! It’s a fantastic liner – pigmented, smooth, long-wearing. You can’t go wrong with Zero and I’ll always have this nifty gel pencil liner in my kit. However, I have to say that Zero just got some fierce competition.
I just got my hands on NYX’s Slide On liner and it is showing Urban Decay some serious competition.
This liner is something special – yes, it’s pigmented, smooth, long-wearing, and majorly smudge proof, which is important when you have a child who loves to poke you in the eye at the most inopportune moments.
For $8, these pencils are worth checking out. They come in 18 different shades, and you betcha I’ll be stocking up! You can find NYX Slide On pencils at http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/products/eyes/eye-pencils/slide-pencil

Does the NYX pencil look more gray, or is it just because you were testing out a gray shade?
It is definitely grey – the shade is Gunmetal. They do offer a black version and it’s just as dark as Zero. I swatched the rest of the colors and will post, soon!
