Milani Marbelized Baked Eyeshadows Are A Delightful Surprise

By Sheila Arkee

Green Fortune

Given my previous experience with baked shadows (not so swell), my expectations for Milani’s version wasn’t too high. I’ve mainly used MAC’s baked shadows and found them difficult to work with, even when used with a damp brush.

Must Have Fuschia, Green Fortune, Copper Excess

To my delightful surprise, the Milani Marbelized Baked Eyeshadows are pigmented and easy to work with.

Left side: Applied with a dry brush; Right side: Applied with a dampened brush.

Without using a dampened brush they still show up, but expect a bit of fall out. With a dampened brush there is no such fall out to talk about.

Lovely, lovely, lovely colors and I have a new found love and respect for baked products. The process of making the baked beauty products is quite fascinating – they’re mostly made in Italy and are hand produced and literally baked in a oven with loving care. What I really want to know is what is going on over there in Italy? So many wonderful liners and baked shadows are produced from there – at some point I would love to take a visit and see this kind of production first hand.

You can find Milani products at select CVS stores, Walgreens, and online.

Gorgeous colors- especially the silver. They’re perfect for summer.
