A while back, I broke down my top ten drugstore favorites, here are some of my picks for department store cosmetics!
1. La Prairie Luxe Lifting Eye Cream:
A total splurge, but totally worth it, in my opinion. Does exactly what it says it will do.
2. SK-II Skin Balancing Essence:
This is another worthy splurge I couldn’t live without. It creates a gorgeous glowing skin and contains Pitera,which the company describes as: “… the seemingly magical ingredient found in all SK-II products, helps restore vital balance by promoting the skin’s natural 28-day surface renewal process. This single blend of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and organic acids produces a seemingly miraculous rebirth of appearance.”
A classic and a staple. It’s one of those products that is so hyped, but does live up to it’s hype. Super moisturizing and soothing, it is a perfect cream for the upcoming winter freeze.
Gentle, and effective. Get’s rid of everything, even stubborn waterproof products!
This mascara does it ALL and I’m not even kidding! I really love this product and it’s always in my kit.
This feather light hair spray holds on without getting stiff or sticky. Spray and stay supple, with this sheer, brush-through finish that lasts all day.
7. Benetint:
This overall tint and color product goes on with a little brush and gives you the rosy cheeks and lips of a baby. Beautiful and stays on forever!
Expensive but completely worth it. One stick will last about a year! Covers even the most stubborn imperfection and won’t slide off your skin.
9. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat:
Yes, this IS the best highlighter in the business. Brings light and radiance to your skin.
10. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick:
The BEST highlighter I’ve ever used, and available in multiple shades. Amazing at giving a glow to the skin. There’s a reason why it’s 30% of Bobbi Brown’s business!
