Hunger Games! Hunger Games! Hunger Games!
If you exist in the world right now, you are most likely aware that a movie based on the young adult novel Hunger Games is will be in theaters in March 23rd. I will fully admit that I am one of the many excited to see the film (but will most likely see on DVD, such is life!).
Make Up For Ever sent over a breakdown of some of the products that were used by makeup department head and Face Off judge Ve Neill, which I can’t help but think is extremely cool.
On Cinna (Lenny Kravitz, eeeeeee!!!!!!!), Ve used Metal Powder #1 as the gold eyeliner.
On Katniss, Ve used one of my all-time favorite foundations, HD Foundation. Ve mixed different shades from light to dark to give her skin different color effects throughout the film. Ve also used HD Blush #9 to highlight her cheeks.
On Effie, Ve mixed Eye Seal with colored pigments to make them waterproof while they were shooting.
Who else is excited to see Hunger Games?
I can’t wait for this movie!!! Love Ve Neall, too.
Hunger Games Addict here. Gotta admit though, Effie’s makeup is a bit freaky.
Not terribly interested in the Hunger Games (books or movie) but I absolutely adore Ve Neill.
