Make Up For Ever has entered the chubby stick cream shadow category with their brand new Aqua Shadows.
The Aqua Shadows are available in 12 shades with both matte and shimmery finishes. These cream shadows are formulated with silica powder to provide long-lasting results – no smudging or creasing, and waterproof!
You can apply the stick right on your lids and use as your main shadow or as a base. You can even use a brush to pick up the product and apply on your lids.
Here’s the Aqua Shadow #6E used as a shadow base for Fyrinnae’s Faerie Glamour.
And here’s the Aqua Shadow #6E used as the outer corner color, with no other color on top. I told you it was pigmented! I was a little shocked by how easy it was to manipulate the cream color – no dragging on my skin, always a plus!
Cream shadow sticks are not new to the makeup world, so how does Make Up For Ever’s version stack up next to NYX’s Jumbo Eye Pencils?
Both pencils are crease-proof, smooth, and easy to apply. The main difference is in the color payoff. While NYX”s Jumbo Sticks provide sheer color and a lighter feel, Make Up For Ever’s pigmentation is rich and opaque.
You can find Make Up For Ever Aqua Liners at Sephora for $20.
