I always say that it feels like time is flying, but especially so recently. In exactly one month my son will start Kindergarten.KINDERGARTEN!!!!
How? Why? How?
It’s a bittersweet feeling – on one hand, I’m sad to think that my baby, my only child who has been an appendage to my side since day 1 is at the age where he’s ready to be more independent and will be at school for a large portion of time. On the other hand … it’s about time!
We are savoring this last Summer of his early childhood, spending hours upon hours outdoors. That’s where long-wearing makeup that doesn’t fade away after hours of activity comes in.
I’ve always been a fan of Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Creams. They really and truly go the distance in terms of longevity, providing hours of lasting wear without a hint of fading or smudging. They’re soft enough to blend with a brush and then set without budging. In comparison to Maybelline’s Color Tattoo shadows, these feel a lot more light to the touch and blend easier.
Make Up For Ever has introduced a few new Aqua Cream shades, and I’m currently crazy over 23, a bright lime green. I’m allllll over this green. So pretty, highly pigmented, and a great addition to the Aqua Cream collection.
Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream shadows retail for $23 and are available at Sephora in stores and online.

These are much easier to blend than the Maybelline. And this shade is amazing.
