You learn something new every day and one thing I learned recently is that the name of this fabulous nail polish brand I’ve heard so many good things about really isn’t “L, V, X” with each letter pronounced separately. No, this is actually pronounced “Lux”, latin for “light”, and light is the essence of all colors.
Clever name and an apt one for this nail product brand that is known for high quality, 7-free nail colors. LVX nail lacquers are made in the USA and are free from Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP, Toluene, Camphor, Xylene, Parabens, TPHP and Gluten. Each season LVX releases a new collection of colors inspired by high fashion and runway trends.
Once a week, sometimes twice, I make a point to sit down when the house is quiet to listen to something educational or watch something interesting on Netflix and give myself an at-home salon manicure. I love when my nail products last an entire week, and I can say that’s what’s happening with LVX lacquers. I’m really impressed with these pretty polishes and I’m so glad I’ve finally had the opportunity to try them. The brushes make it easy to apply the polishes, and the bold colors give you one coat coverage. I’m always a two-coat coverage kind of girl, but it’s nice to know hat you can get full coverage with just one coat.
LVX recently sent over their Spring/Summer collection for 2017 and besides the mix of bold colors and lovely pastels, I’m really impressed with the quality of these nail lacquers. They’re creamy, smooth, and have a long wear time, lasting chip-free for 5 plus days. Let’s take a closer look:
Reine – Gorgeous, bold purple.
Schiaparelli – bright pink after the famed designer Elsa Schiaparelli – Nars also has a lipstick in this color. I’ll be wearing this often on my tips and toes!
Camellia – A gorgeous pastel pink.
Argonne – I’ve never worn an army green, and I’m not hating this.
Seychelle – I love and adore minty green nail polishes. This is a new favorite!
Coquillage – The only polish that gave me any trouble, I had to apply 3 coats to get even wear.
My Final Thoughts: LVX is good stuff! I’m really impressed with the wear time and quality of these luxury lacquer and will be back for more.
