The products featured in Luxury Makeup Brands Worth The Splurge were purchased by me or provided for editorial consideration. All opinions are 100% my own.
As a tried and true makeup junkie, I would never, ever claim to be a makeup snob. Great makeup can be found at all price ranges! I appreciate everything and everything, as long as the performance is excellent.
I do find my tastes run to more of the mid-range beauty products, in general. However, there are a few tried and true luxury makeup brands that I’ve found are worth the splurge and then some. I’ll wait for sales at Sephora and generous coupons at Ulta to pop up to indulge, and the wait is most definitely worth it.
Becca Cosmetics – Becca wins when it comes to superior packaging and finely milled, highly pigmented makeup. I’m awed by the heavy duty metal compacts which hearken back to those glamorous olden days of vintage beauty.
Nars Cosmetics – Okay, maybe the packaging is lacking with that awful plastic overlay that always gets grimy. However, the performance of Nars powder blushes and lipsticks far outweights that inconvenience. Nars blushes in Madly, Exhibit A and Sin are three staples I’ll forever love! And the texture of their Audacious lipsticks? Incredible and buttery smooth.
Viseart and Natasha Denona Eyeshadow – Before I tried Viseart I was intrigued by the scores of positive reviews that surround these eyeshadow, and yet wary to indulge because of the simplistic packaging. I’m glad I did indulge because the quality of these shadows and Natasha Denona shadows are exceptional.
They’re not only smooth, but they glide on your skin and are so easy to blend. Viseart is on the left and Natasha Denona on the right.
Bite Beauty – I’ve never understood paying a premium for lipsticks, but experiencing Bite Beauty products opened by eyes to luxury lip colors. They are a buttery delight to use!
Hourglass Cosmetics – With sleek, ergonomic product packaging and excellent products, Hourglass Cosmetics ranks high on my list of favorite luxury beauty brands. Case in point? Their Ambient Lighting Powders, which give skin an incredibly lit from within glow.
Charlotte Tilbury – While I have to say the packaging of some Charlotte Tilbury products feel a bit on the cheap side, the quality of the products are exceptional. I am a fan of their lipsticks and pressed powder!
