Welcome to the world of liquid lip color love! Although lip glosses reigned supreme for quite a while – and really aren’t going anywhere – we are in a time in the makeup world where opague and creamy liquid lip products are in their heyday. A while back I compared several matte liquid lip colors. Now that I’ve acquired a few more liquid lip products, I wanted to create another post with liquid lip color comparisons and swatches.
I won’t go so far as to call this another matte liquid lip color comparison, because unlike the first post, a few of these products are not matte or long-wearing at all, but have a distinctively creamy or satin texture. So lets jump in and take a look!
The newest liquid lip color in my collection, this one is one of the most intense and long-wearing colors I’ve ever used. Fancy is opaque, dries to a matte finish, and lasts for hours on end. This line of liquid lip colors gets lots of raves, and for good reason! At under $10, it’s a certified bargain. My one warning is to make sure your lips are completely prepped and flake free before application.
I was surprised by how much more I like this satin-finished liquid lip color versus ColorPop’s matte version. It’s creamy, does not dry out your lips, and has a long wear time. It’s smooth sailing!
Another creamy, satin win, these lip colors are long-wearing and feel very comfortable on your lips. The entire Lip Lingerie line is composed of neutral shades.
Opaque, creamy, and intense, these lip colors offer maximum color and coverage. This line is composed of bold colors that are not for the faint of heart!
While I do like this perfect “your lip but better” pinky brown lip color, it’s not exactly the most long-wearing liquid lip color I’ve ever used. Creamy and comfortable to wear, though.
While I don’t find this particular liquid lip color particularly matte or long-wearing, it’s definitely a pretty and creamy drugstore option. Seriously, it’s not matte in the least!
Now this, this $5 liquid lip color impresses me! It’s long-wearing, opague, and completely non-flaky. Jordana and Milani are sister companies, so I’m wondering if this has a sister formula to the Milani Amor Matte Lip Creme? The texture of Jordana feels a bit creamier, in my opinion.
There are a few more liquid lip colors on the market I have on my must try list, including Dose of Colors. What are some of your favorite liquid lip colors?
