I love black eyeliner. I am especially a huge fan of dark, winged at the corners, long-wearing, heavily pigmented liner. But can you believe how difficult it is for one to find eyeliner that meets all the previously mentioned qualities that lasts and stays on my lid?
That is, of course, until I found L’oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense felt tip liquid eyeliner! Amazing stuff!!
The pigmentation in this eyeliner is as good as any department store brand. To top it off, this is the ONLY eyeliner that I’ve tried that does not make my eyeliner smear and smudge all over my under eye area.
Keeping my eyeliner where I want it has always been a challenge for me, with my oil-stricken eyelids and all! Well actually, impossible no more! I’ve tried everything from high-end to low-end that claimed to be “waterproof” or even “smudge-proof” but to no avail. Until of course, I discovered this product. This product is my favorite thus far and meets all my requirements in a liner: fast drying, rich in color, and stays on despite my oily lids/skin!
What’s most interesting is that this product doesn’t claim to either waterproof or smudge proof, yet it does both rather well.
The only thing I didn’t like about it, and this is just my preference, is that the felt tip is very pliable. I prefer a more firm felt tip applicator for my eyeliners, for the purpose of precision. Otherwise, this product gets a 10/10 from me.

I had this, but I had a hard time making thin enough lines with it, so I swapped it off… The Mineral Grey is really nice, too, for a less severe black.
