Kindergarten

As the saying goes, the days were long but the years were short, and now my guy is starting Kindergarten this week. Sentimental mother alert!!!!

To take a page from Oprah, one thing I know for sure is that parenting is the most difficult job.  Can I just go ahead and put “successfully raised a child to age 5″ on my LinkedIn profile???  You have to die to yourself multiple moments every day, but you know what? It’s the most  rewarding job, as well.

I also learned something extremely important in my life as a parent – something you can’t pay for in any school or achieve with any fancy job titles…the most beautiful moments in life are the ones that don’t cost a dime.

Thanks, kid, for showing me the ropes.
