Although I’ve been stuck on MAC concealers in NW25 for what seems like forever, I’ve been making the attempt to branch out of my ususal and use other brands. As I’ve shared in the past, my favorite shade of concealer for blasting out under the eye darkness is anything with a pink undertone. Let me tell you, finding any kind of concealer with a pink undertone is nearly impossible outside of MAC, which is why Painted Earth’s Mineral HD Concealer in Light Peach is such a revelation to me.
Besides being a really nice concealer, the color is right on for what I need. It’s a tad bit lighter than MAC’s NW25, but I can make it work. Next time I will most likely go for Medium Peach.
The texture of this paraben-free concealer is quite lovely, made with Skin Optic Light Technology which is, “light-reflective minerals and line-filling Corrective Micro-Spheres to deliver the ultimate in camouflage”. The stick glides right onto your skin and blends in beautifully. The results when compared against MAC? Pretty great! It’s a keeper, for sure.
Painted Earth Cosmetics is an indie line of skin care and cosmetics that was founded to be an alternative to traditional, chemical-laden beauty products.
