You’ve heard the saying that your eyebrows are the frames of your face? Well, it’s true and I am a true blue believer in good brow products. Make Up For Ever has some lovely products that help you express your brows to their true potential.
You see this stack of makeup goodness? This is the stuff eyebrow dreams are made of. There are three key eyebrow products in this brow-specific trio: Make Up For Ever Brow Pencil, Brow Liner, and Brow Gel. Each are available in 5 brow-friendly colors.
The Make Up For Ever Brow Pencils are sturdy, creamy, and easy to apply. I’ve been using a twist up brow pencil of late because I’ve found that some traditional brow pencils that you have to sharpen are hard as a rock and you barely get any color out of them.
The opposite is true with these brow pencils, which are precision brow pencils.
The colors are: 50 Brown Black, 40 Dark Brown, 30 Brown, 20 Blonde, 10 Light Blonde. These pencils have a nice, neutral undertone meaning they’re going to work well with any skin tone.
Like the Make Up For Ever High Precision Lip Pencils I recently reviewed, these are really nice. You don’t have to sharpen them as often as you do with other brands, yet the tip manages to not wear down and you get the color payoff your brows need. I like a good taupe-y brow, so my pick is number 20. I use this pencil to sketch out the out line of my brows, which really gives structure to my brows overall.
Make Up For Ever Brow Liner ($23) is one of the most unique brow products I’ve ever used.
I like that you can use this felt tip liner to add precise colors to your brows. I have some patchy area and this works nicely to fill in.
The Brow Liners have corresponding colors to the Brow Pencils.
To use the Brow Liners, I fill in any sparse areas as needed and let the liner dry down. I used shade 20 for this look.
I love finishing an eyebrow with a good brow gel, and that’s certainly what you get with Make Up For Ever Brow Gels ($20) which are housed in a sturdy, squeezable tube.
As you can see from the wand, this gel also has fibers, which works to boost the volume of your own brows.
The colors are 00 Clear, 15 Medium Brown, 25 Dark Blonde, 35 Medium Brown and 45 Intense Brown.
You can use the gel by itself as it fills in brows and also in conjunction with the other two brow products. I used 25 for this look.
Combined, these products make for a strong, defined, long-lasting brow.
My Final Thoughts: Make Up For Ever makes great makeup and they make fabulous eyebrow products as well. The quality of the three products I used are excellent across the board.
